Material Basics

Base Material: Polystyrene (thermoplastic polymer, available in GPPS – general purpose, or HIPS – high impact).

Surface Finish: Embossed, patterned, matte, glossy, wood-grain, stone-like, or custom textures.

          • Cost-effective → More affordable compared to acrylic or polycarbonate textured sheets.
            • Chemical Resistance → Moderate resistance to diluted acids/alkalis, but not strong solvents.
              • Flammability → Standard PS is combustible unless treated with flame retardants.
